Andrew Strauss has his sights set on the West Indies.

Not only has he set up the Andrew Strauss Cricket Academy on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, he has now bought a share of a two-bedroom villa at a five-star hotel development called Freedom Bay on the west coast.

Each villa comes with its own pool and owners also have full use of the hotel’s concierge service.
He said: ‘While touring the West Indies, St Lucia became my favourite Caribbean island and I can totally unwind there.’ Prices for a one-week fraction of a one-bedroom villa start at just £17,500.
