England Captain, Andrew Strauss, Ambassador of Freedom Bay

We’re delighted that Andrew Strauss will be launching one of our projects, Freedom Bay having recently become an ambassador for the project.

The England Captain was quoted in a recent article in the Telegraph, stating that he was fond of Barbados, however the privacy and unspoilt setting of St Lucia sold him in. A place where he could relax in peace with his family was the priority. He commented ‘ The setting could hardly be better, while the people are among the friendliest in the Caribbean,” says Strauss, who is an ambassador for Freedom Bay.

Freedom Bay has gained increased interest given its location and luxury beachfront setting. The resort offers low entry property investment, with a five-star hotel, and first-class facilities, backed by the involvement of the prestigious Six Senses group.

The K Club Wins Prestigious Golf Award

Best International would like to congratulate The K Club on being selected as Ireland’s Leading Golf Resort, awarded by The World Travel Awards, especially as this is the eight time in a row that they have received this accolade! A phenomenal 185,000 industry professionals participated in the voting process, which is both monitored and independently audited.

This is the second prestigious award for The K Club this year, having also won the title of AA Hotel of the Year for 2011 and this newest golf award is fantastic news for the team, management and members.
